The goal of the annual Charity Bowl Flag Football Tournament is to provide a memorable, fun, and exciting experience for football fans by giving them a chance to play in Seattle's world class football stadium, while also raising money and visibility for important causes. 

The Charity Bowl  tournament and silent auction began in 2010 as the Deion Branch Football Classic.  Deion was a gracious host for the inaugural edition that supported his foundation, and the fight against childhood meningitis.    Deion set a high bar for the event, as he put on the ref stripes for several games, helped teams design plays in the huddle, and brought many of his friends on the Hawks out to meet the participants.  2010 Charity Bowl Home  |   2010 Charity Bowl Photos

With Deion returning to the New England Patriots in the off season, the event was renamed the Charity Bowl, becoming an annual local spring tournament hosted by a current Seahawks player (or players), supporting a charitable cause of their choosing. 

We are thrilled to have current Seahawk Colin Cole #90 as the host of the 2011 edition of the event!  Chris has named the Seattle Children's Hospital as his chosen recipient of tournament proceeds.  

Deion is also back for the 2011 edition of the Charity Bowl!  He may not be playing for the home team anymore, but he put down roots down in the Seattle community, and we are extremely excited to have him return for the the event!  The Charity Bowl will also be raising funds for the Deion Branch Foundation, and the battle against childhood meningitis. 
 

Underdog Sports Leagues is proud to power the Charity Bowl.  Underdog will be handling registration, format, rules, and will be staffing the games and on field portion of the tournament.
