RIP-IT was totally dominant on Saturday, running through two of the best that the Underdog division had to offer. In their first game, second place Underdog finisher Morris Hansen couldn't get any traction at all, as RIP-IT put up 47 points, but played great defense too in throwing a shutout.
The USCHawks posed a little more challenge, as they put up 20 points on the RIP-IT defense, however, the last two touchdowns came after the game was already out of reach.
RIP-IT left the Underdog division in their wake after the first day and moved up to the Statdog division to continue their domination.
Their first Sunday game was more of the same, as they put away Leny's Crew with ease, allowing only 6 points, while fine tuning their offense. Game number two only presented slightly more of a challenge as Malicious kept the game close until half way into the first half, where RIP-IT turned it up and put them away.
RIP-IT met their first real test in the championship game against the Warriors. The Warriors had been through 2 tough games already on Sunday as they won both games by a combined 9 points. RIP-IT definitely did not give them a rest. This game was all about offense as both teams traded scores. In the end, it was all about who made their extra points as RIP-IT made 2 more to secure the victory and pick up a mens championship to match the co-ed championship they won earlier in the day.
